"CineVegas From the Vault" Continues Through End of 2009 PDF Print E-mail
The “CineVegas From the Vault” screening series, presented by the CineVegas Film Festival and the Las Vegas – Clark County Library District, will continue through the end of 2009 with three films that screened at the 2008 CineVegas Film Festival. The screenings are free and open to the public, and are held at 7pm at the Clark County Library, located at 1401 E. Flamingo Road.

On Thursday, October 1, the series will feature MOMMA’S MAN from director Azazel Jacobs. In this warm, witty and wise comedy, a 30-something man stays in his parents’ downtown loft on a business trip, and finds excuses to stay after his consulting job is finished, instead of returning home to his wife and newborn.

The series continues on Thursday, November 5 with David Zellner’s comedy GOLIATH, in which a recently divorced man tries to find the one aspect of his marriage that still matters to him: his missing cat, Goliath.

Rounding out the series on Thursday, December 3 will be Jake Mahaffy’s WELLNESS, an independent feature about an awkward and self-conscious pyramid scheme salesman trying to succeed in a business that doesn’t exist. The film played at several other film festivals and won numerous awards, including Best Narrative Feature at both the SXSW and Newport International Film Festivals.
