LAS VEGAS – The CineVegas Film Festival’s screening series will now be held at the Neonopolis Theatres on Fremont Street, located at 450 E. Fremont Street, Suite 350 at the corner of Fremont and 4th Streets. Although the location has changed, the lineup for the series in March and April will remain the same, with the exception of “The Situation” and “Sweet Land,” which will not be shown March 16 – 22 as previously indicated. These two films will be rescheduled to screen at a late date. The lineup of films is as follows:

LAS VEGAS – The CineVegas Film Festival will tip off a weekend of basketball in Las Vegas by hosting a charity screening of the celebrated basketball film, “Hoosiers,” at the Brenden Theatres at the Palms Casino Resort at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, February 14. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Las Vegas’ Hollywood HEART program, which allows club members to work with local and Hollywood-based film industry professionals to create their own film. Club members will have the opportunity to write, direct, produce and star in their own short film, which will premiere at the 2007 CineVegas Film Festival.

LAS VEGAS – With all the excitement that visitors expect from Sin City, the ninth annual CineVegas Film Festival returns to the Palms Casino Resort and the Brenden Theatres from June 6-16, it was announced today by Trevor Groth, Artistic Director. This year’s festival, which opens with Steven Soderbergh’s latest tango with the incomparable city of Las Vegas, Ocean’s Thirteen, offers a breadth of world and U.S. premieres, advance screenings of high-profile films, the best new independent films seeking distribution, and a Mexican cinema sidebar continuing the festival’s tradition of discovering emerging talent and taking chances in showcasing challenging but innovative work.

LAS VEGAS – Film enthusiasts will have the chance to attend the star-studded Las Vegas premiere of Ocean’s Thirteen and official after party at Moon on Wednesday, June 6, 2007 at the 9th annual CineVegas Film Festival at the Palms Casino Resort. Stars from the film confirmed to attend include George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Don Cheadle, Ellen Barkin and Andy Garcia.

LAS VEGAS – The CineVegas Film Festival today announced the 25 sponsors for the 2007 festival, including 15 new sponsors that are all passionate about developing the voices of emerging filmmakers and artists as well as the numerous screenings and events that take place across Las Vegas.
